Jo commissioned the drawing of Piggy as a gift for her niece for Christmas. Myself completed the drawing in colored pencil. For a medium years go I used to offer pencil , however I discovered that I much preferred to depict animals -- dogs, cats and horses in graphite pencil. That's to my work that is commissioned that is specialist. Read more about pet portraits here. However! The medium is loved by me and I really enjoy using it for different subjects. It worked well for Piggy. I utilized Derwent watercolour pencils which are soft and purples from sets that I possessed. It was important to find all the pinks, pale blues and purples I needed to finish Piggy's portrait! After completed our framer Amanda then framed it. Scroll down to view photos of the portrait. Cuddly Toy Drawing of Piggy -- Framed Jo asked if we'd have the ability to frame the cuddly toy drawing of Piggy for her at a light colored frame. Our framer Amanda sent me a few pictures of a couple of frame options out of her framing store with some mount colors to pick from too. Jo chosen with this very white frame along with the Hayseed texture's mixture bracket having a mushroom on top. The colors work superbly with the frame and the portrait, it sets it off so well.
